This group covers the auto services most drivers use between washes: repair shops and quick-lube centers, body and collision shops, tire and auto glass shops, parts stores, towing companies, gas stations and EV charging sites. Independent repair shops are usually cheaper than dealerships for out-of-warranty work; quick-lube chains change oil and filters in under half an hour without an appointment. Body shops handle collision repair and paintless dent removal, often working directly with insurers. Parts stores lend tools, test batteries for free and recycle used oil. Gas stations in most states are self-serve, and many attach a tunnel or in-bay automatic wash discounted with fuel.

I stopped by with some visors for an older 80's car to be redone. I brought my own material. The shop had several cars old and new being worked on when I got there. Everyone I spoke to was great. Dale was very helpful and interested in what the visors were for, inquiring about how the rest of the car was. I felt good about the place and I saw seats and an older late 70s Cadillac with a headliner being worked on while I was there, so I decided to leave the visors. About two and a half weeks later my visors were finished. I expected they'd simply be rewrapped but the boards were all new as well. They came out excellent and look factory. I'd use Art's again for anything automotive.

Dropped off our sailboat cushions for zipper repair and foam replacement. Art and Harold helped me make the right choices with costs and timing in mind. Their work is excellent: precise and professional. They did a fast turnaround for me. Hours are Mon-Fri 7:30 to 4:30. Cash and checks only. Give these guys a try for any auto or boat upholstery. Their attention to detail is remarkable. I was so impressed with their work I decided to post some photos of other projects they recently completed, too! (I WISH that was my boat and my '49 Studebaker!!)
